F

Well that went downhill very f’ing fast…

I neither give one nor possess enough

to spare a flying kind

You’re entitled to not give one back

Or put one up your large behind…

F You, me, they, them, thems, hes and shes

F this and that, your dog and cat

horse you rode in on, and also that

for a game of marbles if you please…

So off you go, and F yourself

And while you’re there F someone else

Your mum, your dad, your neighbours kids

and do confess to what you did

For in the joy of F’s release

will you find sweet sweet f’ing peace

E

No thinking, just see what vomits forth!

He heads down to the water, deep swells and stormy skies

Spill and swirl across lifes pages

His dark Aphrodite, his goddess of the ages

Her passion and bliss the mirror to his lies

.

She beckons, sweetest of voice cuts through the storm

And how he yearns for the sea in that hour

To sink beneath the waves, to feel loves power

As cavalcades of white wave top riders herald brightest dawn

.

Zephyrus dries her, stars reflected in the ocean of her eyes

And all things fade away and into bliss theyre lifted

Tears dried, they surrender to the now and forever they’ve been gifted

And shine like brightest constellation of the skies

d

D is for stuff, right?

Give me the D, or is it he that surely D deserves

And surely something so profound needs more to calm the nerves

For D , you see, can be what he, or she or we desire

While we presume for our own good

this D would give what a bee should

in sweetness, sticky and sublime

I fight to keep this D of mine

And stake a claim and over time

will learn to be the he who sees the D

and thinks, perhaps it’s not for me

and O-M-G feel free to see that we can be

A he, him, she without the need forD and what might be

More words. Going to be a month of words. Wordy words…

These are the days that we remember

When thoughts like fog drift into night

Still clear, like endless summer skies

Amid confusion, doubts and lies

Without a doubt, still bold, they shine so very clear and bright

We are the memories they see, when at the very end

The final thoughts, the sweetest times

Unmarked by ticking time or tide

The hearts that beat where lovers hide

Kept safe in song and word and rhyme

….

Here in this place we will be seen

And felt where longing is fulfilled

By force of will if all else fails

For love abides and hopoe prevails

For hearts at closing of the day find peace in love, strong willed

And there we see who we could surely be

B

To be, or not

And in that lot not once to wonder what

And why and just wherefore. So stop

To breathe and in the presence of the past

Then look upon the days we thought would last

But voices once so loud not start to drop

And thoughts they turn to who, not why, nor when

We are, we were, we could have been, and then

We climb and conquer, proudly stand atop

And there we see who we could surely be

A

Been a while since I waffled…

I held A moment in my hands and held it to the light

And rolled it through my fingers, mix of shades of dark and light

Then, scrutinised and sanitised

And pulled and picked apart

Drained it of emotion, felt its fading, beating heart

.

I found A moment in the dark and hid it from the sun

Swore to keep it safe and secret and to show it to no one

But it slipped through clutching fingers

And I lost it, gone from sight

The promise of enlightenment, neglected in the night

.

I took A moment for myself and promised to take stock

To count the toll of carelessness, and return to my rock

of things I love and those I know

Which shelter from the storms

And heart and hearth burn brightly, and the fires that keep me warm

One more day

words…

At Days close he waits content

to say goodbye and drift to night

and in those moments years rolled back

warm smiles and joy and eyes shine bright

Her warm embrace and tender kiss

and babies cries and laughter sweet

when blankets laid across his knees

worn eyes do close and visions greet

First words, first steps, first dates first kiss

long days dark nights but then

he sees her face and hears her voice

and love’s restored again

And as he slips to dark and rest

a life well lived he sees

of family, love and heart and hearth

life passing like the breeze

And in that moment vivid, clear

old lips whisper and say

each day a treasure I received

farewell, on this last day

Let me love you like a serial killer

Damn, missed valentines day…

Oh won’t you let me climb inside you

Let me wear you like a skin

And to feel your heart a beating

And to touch you from within.

.

What you see I want to witness

When you hear ill hear it too

When you nap ill snooze inside you

Let me be there when you poo.

.

From your innards i can feel you

As I’m nestled in between

I can feel your pain quite clearly

‘Twixt your liver and your spleen

.

Oh let me crawl right up inside you

Wont you let me show u love

There inside your flesh and sinew

Let me wear you like a glove

.

My desire knows no limits

And my love is absolute

Here its warm and wet and safe

Inside my juicy love skin suit

Screw You Haiku

A little light haiku relief…

Proof that haiku do not always have to be serious…

The life of the clown

by day bringing joy, by night

he’s under your bed

night time toilet trip

lights out, think I saw a clown

run back to bed scared

Long hair and tight jeans

he watches her walk and lusts

bugger, it’s a bloke!

hot tea before bed

up three times throughout the night

Damn old man’s bladder!

Heirloom

More rambling words…

These memories, like trinkets long discarded, out of reach

And though I search elusive they remain

With faded paint, and gold hue once so bright now dim

Ensnared with such a wonderous pull now seems like pointless whim

You held it in your hand, I think, though cannot be so sure

For memories aren’t always believed

And where I saw it last slips through cold, frail grasping fingers

And names once tripped from sparkling tongue, now only in fog lingers

Instinct pricked, elusive elements of something once so sure

This certainty, now possible or maybe

I search, I know it’s to be found, so close, so very near

This trinket, bauble, well loved toy, that now seems oh so dear

Unforgiven

Rambling words…

He finds her, in that place where dreams ignite

And softly calls her name, lips red from painted ladies

Sweet lies he spins, like stars they light her darkest night

Promises in love entwined and future shining bright

            _

The words, so very well rehearsed, like petals on the floor

To try and lift the chains of true love once betrayed

Played out, it seems, a thousand times before

Heart aches like empty stomach’s of the poor

            _

This here, this now, this evermore, and blinded to his ways

He brings her to his alter of deceit

And pledges sacrifice of heart through endless days

To love, to hold, nor on another gaze

            _

To lift the curse to feel once more complete

And thoughts of her he lost might drift away

A red stained dress, and veil of dark deceit

Where hearts and minds and love’s desires meet

            _

And so she joins the brides parade

Where willingly the pining souls are one

Here words form bonds that aren’t unmade

And so he leads from light to endless shade

            _

Nightly now they lie on sullied beds and rot

Another notch, just one more failed escape

For fate forgives where lovers scorned do not

And he finds a new love, and hers is soon forgot

Waiting in the darkness…

Been a while since I spewed such waffle forth!

Like stars that pierce the inky void

of night she sparkles as she spins

through space and time and all about

look up and watch as bright she burns

Beyond the moons of myth and lore

He watches, blinded by the joy

And hearts entwined they find their place

Hearts lifted at the setting sun

Forever sighs, and promise kept

And dying suns adorn her train

Of endless night, left in her wake

Their forever sighs, and calls her near

Eternal bound in endless skies

And dying suns adorn her train

Of darkest night, left in her wake

Beyond the veil they dip and swoop

Through nebula and pinpricked paths

‘Till time no more stands in their path

To ever more’s sweetest embrace

Go, please, just go

Stick with it…get to the end.

Waiting, like a man at the gallows

I wait and wait, and watch your desperate dance

The chance to leave this place I seek

But this is not my choice, but yours

And time ticks slow as cold seeps in

My coat pulled tight ‘gainst coming night

That perfect refuge still evades

And so you lead me to the dark

On and on, beyond the vale

of day and dusk and all that’s bright

A merry dance, and I must give

My all to follow where I’m sought

I try to fight against the pull

Insisting our time has run out

And beg, please free me from this duty

As slumber calls me slowly home

Just over here, you beckon me

As helpless I can not refuse

This is my lot, my place to be

I beg my dog, please do your poos

Deepest Blue

My weekly dose of drivel

Alone she stands, a beacon, calling loud into the night

And to her warm embrace she beckons, drawing in with love and light,

Her warmth and tender words, they promise rest and fretless sleep

Through crashing waves, and razor rocks they flood into her keep

Her eyes as dark as deepest seas, upon which they once sailed

Her pallid skin, her blood red lips, the cross on which impailed

They pledge their love and service for the promise of life’s rest

And at last find solace in the embrace of her breast

Until the end of days, beneath the waves, they serve the throne

Lost to the world and those they left that toil the sun, alone

And in her wake they trail as slow she gathers for her store

Until their memories have faded, and at last they are no more

AB

Time

My weekly dose of drivel

She slips her hand, soft, into his and tender does suggest

that had she known him years ago then all would now be best

Sweet promises that seek to mend the things that cause such rot

With shallow smile he nods, and lies, for he believes her not

Like knotted roots, the tangled web of thoughts run deep and wide

And in the dark he chooses what she seeks to coldly hide

For these things make us who we are, and stoic he persists

Lives the ruin he will not give up, that blinds like winter’s mists

Queen of the tides

Something a bit different today

She slips beneath the silver spray, and into Neptune’s cold embrace

A tidy pile left in the sand, and not a thing left out of place

The rancid rot of time, well hid, laid bare where lovers hands caress

And in the waves, they tumble, she succumbs to false confess

She counts the life she lived, the lovers lost, and feels the dark

Until his siren beckons, turn away, and to his call she harks

And setting sun lights up the crashing waves like fire’s embers

She looks, forlorn, as hand in hand he leads, but she remembers

But it’s too late, their vows are said, she reigns and rules alone

In inky depths, her seaweed crown on bleached white, flesh stripped bone

A carnivore’s forbidden desire

The follow up from the archives…

You should read this first.  I did so enjoy writing it.  Below is quite the opposite and not a single word of it is true.  Ok maybe the frog pasty bit but only that.

After much consideration it appears I would perhaps

like to try Koala glazed with cranberries and schnapps

and I’m now perhaps quite tempted by a plate of hamster fillet

just as long as it’s deboned and someone took good care to skin it

These days I’m rather ready for a broth made out of Turtle

I would even eat a pokemon, say Pikachu or Squirtle

and I’d not say no pasties filled with vegetables and frog

and my mouth sure starts to slaver at the thought of slow roast dog

Ooh a seventies style fondue with small chunks of cat and monkey

and a creamy sauce of gruyere cheese would be ever so funky

and then wash it down with beaver juice fresh squeezed, soda and lime

or a thick stew made with Panda bits would hit the spot each time

Then at lunch time there’d be squirrel cakes and sauces thick and tasty

and a wellington with mushrooms and a parrot wrapped in pastry

there’d be volauvents with gold fish tails and budgie infused cider

and a lion steak and hippo cheek and tender side of tiger

Oh the banquet of the carnivore holds such delicious treats

mouth watering and quite sublime with most forbidden meats

they care not now for beef or lamb or chicken, goose or pork

to the extreme their pallet’s crave such dark things on their fork.

These poisoned gifts

Not sure what I was going for here. I started something, inspired by a song, then painted the bathroom so lost my train of thought…

In the dark stripped bare and cold

Drowning in things handed down

These rags, the curses, bloodied lips

Sins of the father, chains that bind

And shadows in the doorway watch.

Each blow, each bruise and words that cut

far deeper into sun bleached bone

than sharpened blade could ever do.

Dark lullaby and icy kiss goodnight

The hooded shame chokes, burns and blinds

But from outside wide smiles deceive

And shackled, shuffle silent by

Fireside

Blah blah blah…Limerick tomorrow I promise…

Your name is always on my lips, the fairest treat

The furnace heat, life’s love, stars intersection

We walk the chapel built of breathless whispers

Spend summer days in golden fields, love’s raw reflection, soft flesh yields

Rush headlong to oblivion, with not a care and no retreat.

And orchards ripe and bursting full, we lay beneath their shade

This promise made, devoured like sweetest fruits, head on my chest

Full moon nights, desires willed, of yearning filled

Are all I need, surrendering to secrets spilled

And winter’s icy fingers wrapped tight around my heart do fade

And now amongst the living do I find a way each day

The path to stay and memories once so lost I cling to dearly

Love’s winding path home leads so very clearly

To the door, and like before, you wait

I close the gate and know that I am home at last,
