No laughing matter

Close those curtains…

Neath the paint and the smiles, sadness deep

When the lights they go out they do creep

At the window stare in

with maniacal grin

cut you up in your bed as you sleep

  1. hmmm, I wonder if it would run scared if it peeked into the naturist’s window. This is what happens when you read two of your poems back to back — they seem like they go together, different chapters of an evolving story. Evolving? hmmmm. Maybe devolving
