My wellbeing journey – The tree is no more…

And that brings that to an end…

About a year ago I decided to leave my Xmas tree up and decorate it with other things throughout the year and that I would only take it down when the world got back to normal.

The tree is down, but I realise that this is not the normal we left behind…

I just felt the tree thing had ran its course and it was time to move onto something else. A few folk have already remarked that they miss seeing the tree, and it is a little bare in here, but I am deciding still on what to do next. Watch this space I guess.

It certainly proved a talking point on the millions of zoom calls I had to endure the last year, and it was fun coming up with new ideas so yes, I will miss it.

God I should have left it up shouldn’t I…hmmm

Oh well…onwards and upwards!

If you’re curious, these are the trees:

Valentines Tree

Easter Tree

Star Wars Tree

Celebration tree

Summer tree

Halloween

50th tree

Xmas tree

  1. Apparently were lifting all restrictions here… the government are looking to distract is from their mess By letting is all catch Covid…So the Tree may have to go back Up!

  2. That’s crazy – yes Johnson with his party on the lawn … we hear about his misdeeds, like you used to hear about the Trump misdeeds. Not so many Biden issues – he keeps his nose clean and they just make fun of him being old and inferring he is senile (he’s no more senile than you or me) … that seems dumb to life restrictions – hope you are not like the U.S. In our state alone, we have on average 16,800 new cases per day and deaths range from 75 to 250 per day. Sometimes they review old records and determine it is COVID. Put the tree up for Valentine’s Day!

  4. Yes, same here and we have a lot of unvaxxed people in our state, so that’s why we’re so high. A high school friend of mine, unvaxxed, spent 16 days in the hospital and still has home healthcare.
