sun slowly fading
first signs of autumn changes
dog shit ‘neath the leaves
Okay so I started trying to do a proper one but mostly I am then just drawn to images of leaves on the ground and we all know what leaves on the ground means right? No? It means dog shit hidden by leaves. You cant go running through the leaves and kicking them playfully anymore for fear of whipping up a Doberman turd into the face of a passing child or being late for school because you have to head back home to clean the crap out of the kids school shoes.
No, I am not ready for Autumn yet because it will inevitably make me grumpy and complain about dog owners a lot and it has so been a pleasant summer.

It’s the solemn duty of poets to speak the truth.

I had that happen on my front lawn from the *&^% Doberman two doors down. He frolics around in the front yard, and terrorizes everyone in his own side yard and never stops barking. I entertained the idea of scooping up that steaming pile and depositing it on his owner’s front porch, but the owner is on the sex offender’s list and a swarthy-looking creep, so I just dealt with it myself. I don’t have a dog – I went to the store to get a pooper-scooper as it happened two different times: $19.99 for the regular one, $29.99 for the deluxe. I was fuming. Thank you for letting me get that off my chest. 🙂

I’ve never thought of it that way. You just killed my leaf diving this year 😂

Perhaps it’s more of a thing here we do seem to have a bit of a problem with it

There is just something a little bit mental and arrogant and just crazy about Dobermans they just don’t seem to give a monkeys about anybody or anything and they just do their own thing because they could probably take your face off if they want to

Who knows. We have strict laws about cleaning up after your pet but that’s not to say some think they’re above it.

Hope I don’t ruin your love of the autumn. Although you will probably think about it the first time you kick a pile of leaves and you will more than likely check your shoe just in case

LOL Autumn is my favorite time of year. I’ll just take pictures and forget about jumping in the leaves!!

I know it and I like dogs but this one lays its ears back and bares its teeth when I walk past the yard. As I said, the guy/dog live on the corner, so I’ve taken to crossing the street so I don’t have to see it “rush he fence” – one time I was coming back from walking and the guy was mowing the lawn and the dog was in the front and stopped and bared its teeth at me and so I stood on the corner, like an idiot, waiting til I caught his attention and said “your dog does not like me, though I’ve never done anything to harm it – it glares at me in my own yard, two yards away … please “introduce” the dog to me so it knows I am not a threat to you. He does this and tells me to pet the dog (hated to, but did it) and says “Cha Cha won’t bite – she only barks – she would only bark if I tell her to bite.” Hmmm – so would you want to cross the owner? http://www.icrimewatch.net/offenderdetails.php?OfndrID=2006350&AgencyID=55242
This is the first and only encounter I’ve had with a doberman before.

I think my experience was when I was young and there were a couple where we lived and they were just always in a bad mood and looking for trouble. Great guard dogs but pretty scary things for sure!

I purposely don’t walk that way anymore – he rushes the fence at anyone who goes by, baring his teeth and ears laid back.’
