He used to cry quite a lot when I did it but these days they are used to me to be honest

I don’t know which is worse…to be threatened with being farmed out or being used to you. You do realize that they will be the ones to decide where you spend your last years, right?

I know I have considered that but given the state of my health and my lack of self control in most things chances of me reaching a ripe old age are rather Slim

Never had to use that threat on my daughter… I do think I recycled one from my youth once or twice and told her to go play in the middle of the busy street by our house. My mom used to tell me and my sister that a lot… but her more so, I was the “good daughter” LOL
