Lots of rain looks like it was good for the garden Michael. We had miserable weather all July – hot, muggy, buggy and multiple severe weather events. I’m ready for Fall. I’ll have a slice of that delicious-looking torte please!
It has not stopped training here for a month it’s ridiculous. That cake was the creation of my eldest I got home one night at 9 PM and here he was making a cake as He was hungry…
Oh it was absolutely everything from the movies there was lots of John Williams and Danny Elfman the highlight was obviously Star Wars and Indiana Jones for me. Also working girl and Mission impossible and so so many more
I have heard about your deluge of rain Michael. I follow a couple of UK bloggers. The weather is ridiculous all over, but a month of rain is a bit over-the-top. Your eldest is following in his old man’s footsteps! (I’d say a chip off the old block – is that an expression there – some idioms don’t translate well. I find myself checking the slang dictionary more and more as often expressions have become double-entendres along the way.)
Ya never know with expressions … having grown up in Canada, there were many words and expressions we brought to the U.S. which people didn’t know what they meant (their loss). 🙂 Yes, this Summer has been a disappointment.

Indiana Jones… was the show John Williams music or movie music in general? Some yummy food and Theo having fun. Looks like a good month!

The sun has kind of been out for the last 2 days but I haven’t really taken advantage of it because it kind of caught me by surprise
Oh well maybe next year we can have summer
