Twice a year we have food fair here in Halifax. The one in April is fairly big but we have a huge one in October and there is some really delicious stuff
Sounds fun – we used to have great events called ethnic festivals for years when I worked in Detroit. They were right downtown on the riverfront, easy to walk to on your lunch hour. Every week was a different ethnic specialty plus native bands, etc. Was a lot of fun, then they stopped having them … no one has every tried to duplicate the idea which surprises me.
Here too – it was 47 when I left the house on my walk and I put the heat back on as 68 felt too chilly to me. Trying to type with cold fingers and three layers of clothing … so gave it up and put on the heat again.
Afterwards 
Hmm, the “Chinese Food” vendor looks out of place on the cobblestone street and quaint-looking buildings.
