To love through loss

Teary eyed she stands in the rain

Asks “Daddy why did she die”

He father holds her hand and says

“sometime we don’t know why.”

Dear love, best friend so loyal and true

She remembers, heart forlorn

The moments shared, the life the love

So cruelly from life torn

“It seems so sad, she was so young”

As tears mix with the rain

“do doggies go to heaven dad?

Will I see her again?”

  1. I do find the amount of stuff quite interesting and whilst the emotions are not always my own they are genuine and one’s I have witnessed and sometimes simply on here on WordPress

  2. It’s just a little bit of balance there are only so many words that rhyme with penis scrotum syphilis and AIDS and sometimes you just have to take a break from it lol

  3. Very nice – I’m misting up for pets lost … there will be no more pets in my life. As a person who has no family, the loss of a beloved pet is devastating. I told you about Buddy my canary when you wrote the post about the man with the space rock and his pet canary who watched him die. This was beautiful, and really tore me up.

  4. Pets are good for children. My neighbor had a hamster that disappeared in the house. She never did find it and she could not give a valid explanation to the grandchildren what happened to it. I think they watch too much T.V. – they wanted her to produce a body when she told them it had died.
