Scorchio

I think this might be summer. Not seen many ever so they’re a rare old thing.

Seems whenever I go out the sun’s shining

has me grumpy and sweaty and pining

for the end of the summer

all this sun is a bummer

when it’s cold though you know I’ll be whining.

  2. This is me to a “T” … as the Winter wore on, all that snow and cold, I declared I would not utter a single word about the heat … first heat wave at Memorial Day in late May, I was complaining. We’ve had two scorching heat wave and another on the way starting Thursday – ugh.

  5. Lol I think we are all the same we want what we don’t have when we have it we don’t want it because we forgot Hunt Pleasant what we really wanted actually is and other thing that we don’t have actually gives us quite a lot of joy

  7. I don’t always understand this heat humidity business I group in Africa and it was effectively just freaking hot all of the time in the summer and that was kind of described it hot, really hot bloody hot, boiling

    Google talk about humidity but I didn’t really understand it I just know lots of my bits are sweaty

  8. LOL! You crack me up! It works like this… Heat trapped in little water molecules landing on your forks and spoons and knives and… then slowly collapsing all over you until you can’t breathe for dear life!

    I might need to go jump in the pool right about now! Oh… I don’t have a pool! Damn!

  12. Today we have a stormy and rainy day – I have dictation my boss dropped off. I am going to forego a walk, though it is not raining now, but we have a stormy and rainy day on top, then this horrible heat wave.

  16. I have always felt the cold was better than the heat (and humidity)…. you can always add a layer of clothes or blanket, there is a point where you get in trouble for taking them off though.
