Should have posted it yesterday but I was too busy enjoying the wedding and drinking cocktails and enjoying a day only us Brits can really do properly…

Nice, for a Sunday Limerick. I did so enjoy the festivities. I thought the whole thing was beautiful. I’m such an American. 😅😒😍😅

There are days when it is so great to be British because nobody else can pull off a day like that and the whole country was in such a good mood and the weather was great and there were parties everywhere and it’s just an excuse to spend time with people and enjoy things and there was laughter and teats and just generally a great time

I was glued to the tube … YouTube that is, along with other 1,255,236 people at the same time. The weather was just gorgeous and who could not get caught up in this fairy tale romance? It was a beautiful ceremony and I loved all that pomp and pageantry afterwards as well. This is the third Royal wedding I’ve watched … who will be next, Master George? Oh my, I will be old by then.

That’s right – wow am I getting old, I remember when Sarah Ferguson and Andrew got married – I saw the photos of the wedding attendees and did see their two girls and wouldn’t have recognized them if they passed me by on the street.

They probably had enough of the whole Royal business having been immersed in it when they were younger. I read a news column wherein a British person said that he could not understand why a commoner would want to marry into the Royal family as their life would never be the same again. That is a very telling statement and puts a little tarnish on the whole fantasy of that love story.
