  1. ummm, gross but I heard some people love the stuff. I remember 6th grade our teacher brought in snails, said they were good and as a class we cooked them in their shells in garlic butter. I closed my eyes to eat the first one — it was surprisingly tasty. Made the mistake of opening my eyes for the second one. It was a black droopy dead slug at the end of my tiny two-tined fork. Ewww. i couldn’t eat it. The visuals were too much even knowing the first one was tasty. Actually it was probably the garlic butter that was because these days I do love garlic butter–back then, my chidlhood home was a plain margarine place so it was my first intro to garlic and butter. Never had either. Yep, I do think it was the garlic butter.

  2. I will agree with you on the garlic butter ones they’re not too bad at all. We did get given a jar of the slimy black ones for our wedding by somebody I knew we simply should not have invited. They went into the bin the very same day. You get some very large ones which some people simply adore.

Then again the French also eat frogs legs those dirty buggers put anything in their mouths
